What a delight to share the Christmas holiday with Jonah, especially
this year! He is very interested in Santa and the soon approaching
Christmas holiday! There's been lots of talk about the act of giving

Our sleepy Jonah

Jonah is such a big boy! He just returned from flying to California to
see his aunt la la and uncle cory with Nana! They had such a great
time. Jonah even got to go in the cockpit of the airplane and met the
pilots. :)

Keenan is nearly eight weeks old now! He is such an amazing little
baby! He's cooing and smiling daily. Such a joy!

We've entered into a nice rhythm as a family too. Jonah loves his baby
brother. He says sweet things like "he's so cute".

We are doing great! Soaking up these infant days! At keenan's 11day
check up he weighed 9 lbs 65%, 23.5 inches long 95% ( 2.5 inches in
11days!).

Baby Keenan Joseph Allen has arrived!!!

5:29 am 8 lbs. 7 oz. 21 in.

An amazingly beauitful fast and intense labor!!!

Water broke at 2 am, contractions started at 3:30 am, arrived at 5:29
in the shower. Our midwives barely made it in time--heard midwive
Katherine arrive and she was there to catch his head. What an
incredible home birth!

Jonah and Daddy make a fort---

Which transformed into an airplane with a propeller. (James is
amazing! He continues to amaze me! He's such an incredible daddy!)

Baby update: healthy and strong, head is in position, measuring at 38
weeks! Which is spot on with our ultrasound due dates. A few weeks to
go and we are having a home birth. We are so excited to meet our sweet
baby boy!

Jonah's new sweet ride!

When we asked Jonah what he wanted for his birthday he said "how about
a bike with pedals" because he's been riding his strider for nearly a
year now. And he has mastered the strider going super fast "bombing"
down hills and I mean big hills with his feet up.

Pedals were a new deal for him but he's mastering those quickly. Phase
2 take off the training wheels because he's mastered balance from the
strider.

mommy! What a wonderful day with our 3 year old! :)

Sans the conductor Jonah ( I'll post it in his bday party pics)... A
team effort: nana baked the cake and made homemade frosting and mommy
did the decorating. I have to say I think I've found a new hobby! I
thoroughly enjoyed decorating jonahs birthday cake! :)
